We live in a society where photography has become a ubiquitious form of communication and a camera is on  a persons body at most times.  It serves it's ultimate purpose of capturing that persons memories to be recalled at will.   What Kivie does is take the images to places a camera alone cannot.  He adds dirt, grass, paints, resin and handmade papers to his works that take them to directions never seen before.  He meticoulously controls the process from image capture, to printing, painting, layering and then final resin layers.   You end up with a very complex process that looks simply beautiful.
